I was introduced to a wonderful hair cut shop today. It is Family Hair Cut. The reason I like this place so much is because of the price. Men’s hair cut - $3.99. (Women’s just $5.99). It is run by some Vietnamese people. Linda cut my hair. She did a good job to. All for $3.99. If you click the picture you can see the sign says the prices. Perm for only $25. I might check that out one day. After all…it wouldn’t be the first time I had a perm.
I’ve always have a problem going to a place to get my hair cut. Why you ask? Well…mostly because my hair cut is about like this. And I absolutely hate paying someone $12.95 or more, plus a tip, just to use clippers to (basically) buzz my head. So when I got married I made Wife start cutting my hair. Which she doesn’t really like because she’s so afraid she might mess something up. Not that I see how it’s really possible to mess up shaving my head…but whatever. So now I found a great place to get it cut on the cheap! With tip it’s only $5. Awesome. I think I’ll go back to my every two weeks hair cut routine now. That’s two hair cuts for $10. So take that Supercuts! Now if I can just Wife to go for the $5.99 hair cut!!

I would totally do the $5 hair cut. Mine’s $10 right now, the cheapest I know of around here. Sure, it’s pretty uneven, but better than if I’d done it myself, and less dangerous!

Ugh… bad experiences at Supercuts. I just can’t bring myself to go back there.

Yea, with girl’s hair, unless you really know the person, you gotta pay for expertise.
Bully for you on finding a new place. But I am with Teresa that it’s scarry to cut your husband’s hair. I, in fact, did mess up Joe’s hair while I was buzzing it one time. =(

Yeah, I messed up Jon’s one time, too. Forgot to put a guard on at all and just buzzed away! It grew out pretty quickly. Needless to say, Jon’s the one who thinks it’s scary to have the wife do the husband’s hair!

@ Leanna - What does “Bully” mean in this context?

John would never let me cut his hair. But sometimes I think I could do a better job than the haircut he comes home with from “The Barber Shop.”
